I think the phrase "biblical worship" is the effort to align our actions and intentions in worship to our best understanding with scripture and to think deeply about if what we are doing is the faithful thing to do. I love what Cherry wrote about this, saying, “…lives pursing greater understanding of there and other primary themes pertinent to biblical worship with the hope of offering worship that is pleasing to God.” We can be confident in certain themes of worship and what those aspects may entail according to our understanding of worship in the Bible.

I think that we should especially do what is directly commanded in scripture when it comes to ordering worship. However, the Bible does not display a direct layout with details of what to do in corporate worship, so I believe there is interpretation in what we should do as worship that would be pleasing to God. At the heart of worship, I think we need to use the Bible as our anchor, especially since God acts first and invites us into worship, so our worship should be in response to that. Additionally, there is a transformational journey in worship so there will be changes in how we worship some because our hearts are being transformed by our relationship with God changing because of the grace of God.
