The Worship Architect Chapter 2 - Definition of Worship

I think worship is an invitation from God to respond to our God for the amazing works He has done, especially the salvation Jesus has granted us, through the way we live, follow God, and give Him all the glory.

This entire chapter was fascinating but also convicting. Oftentimes, I can get caught up in thinking that "successful worship" depends on us and our efforts. It was humbling but also relieving to read and remember that we are incessantly dependent on Christ in and for worship. God tenderly welcomes us into worship first. additionally, we worship with and for Him, not for ourselves or for a "good response". I need to remember to always have a humble heart placement when it comes to thinking of and participating in worship. When we have the proper mindset and heart placement - Christocentric worship - worship be comes so profoundly liberating. I absolutely adored this chapter.
